What is the goal of the CPP trainings?

CPP trainings are meant to prepare the community members for efficient involvement in the program activities and organization of the community activities. This is the chance to find out about new project models, efficient citizen involvement activities, new managerial methods, original methods of success promotion.

What CPP trainings are?

CPP trainings are very popular for the program beneficiaries because of the participatory characteristic, because are interesting organized and conducted and because a highly efficient in skills/ability development. Trainings are requested mostly by the beneficiaries, who want to develop their managerial carrier, who want to be competent in a highly competitive world, by the beneficiaries who have self development aspires. The length of the training course is 16 academic hours. Each training has a specific topic. Most requested training topics are: Management and LeadershipProject DesignEfficient Communication and PresentationStrategies for organizing and conducting Civic Activities, AdvocacyProject Implementation, and Conflict Management.

Which is the methodology of training activities?

Initially to the participants are presented the theoretical concepts. The theoretical is done using cooperation teaching/ learning methods in odder to increase involvement of each participant. In process, the participants are involved in the research activities, develop case studies, and identify solving problems opportunities, making recommendation for the activities they conduct. They will use diagnostic tools to identify the particularities of the team and team members.

Who is delivering CPP trainings?

The training activities are offered by the 6 Social Organizers/Trainers. CPP pays attention to professional development of the Social Organizers. Till now they participated to 6 trainings conducted by one of the prestigious international field organization – Partners for Democratic Change.

Periodically, CPP organizes training activities, workshops for the staff. The attitude and the competence of the Social Organizers are the most appreciable values of CPP training program.

What are the results of the program?

During 4 years (from August, 2005 till February, 2010) in the frame of the program were organized 1,141 training activities, attended by more than 16,700 community members. Participants learned how to develop a team, to identify and to solve community problems, to use presentation and communication techniques, to use the community resources, to use advocacy strategies, to deal with the implementation of projects, to reduce conflict consequences.
