During the International Education Week, on November 17, 2010, Galina Chira, Muskie Alumna 2007-2009 organized and conducted a workshop for teachers of different subjects from various schools of the Chisinau municipality. The topic discussed was "Howard Gardner, Multiple Intelligences. Helping Students Succeed." The workshop included theoretical information, as well as practical activities and video films. Teachers shared their experience and brainstormd ways of applying the knowledge about multiple intelligences in their classes and in their work with parents. A strong accent was put on meeting students individual learning styles and helping them succeed in their studies.
