The studying process in Bender middle school No.3 was developed in unsatisfying conditions. The middle school territory was being crossed by strangers and animals, thus threatening children’s safeness. Bender community has identified the construction of a fence around the institution as the priority problem. During the consensus meeting 51 persons voted to solve namely this problem affecting their children. Over 700 locals have actively participated in the implementation of the USAID financed project through CPP. Parents, teachers, CIG members and representatives of the local administration have had a tight collaboration during implementation process, offering their financial, labor and organization support. 250 volunteers have disseminated informational materials about the project results to the residents of Bender. CIG members managed to obtain funding from local NGO’s, middle school alumni, local government. As result of the CPP trainings and interactions, locals of Bender have mobilized and acquired experience for a successful project implementation. Now the studying process in middle school No.3 can normally evolve.

At the first CPP meeting organized in Dubasari participated 53 persons, representatives of different social categories. The participants actively discussed and debated the problems they are confronting with in their town. By the end of the meeting community has decided to solve the lack of corresponding sanitary-hygienic conditions in the showers and laundry of the boarding school from Dubasari. The solution they elaborated was to realize capital renovation of the showers and laundry rooms, endowing them with the necessary technical equipment. The community contribution within the project was possible due to the financial support of Dubasari district and town administration. Community members participated in the implementation of the project resulting with better studying and sanitary conditions for the 147 children from the institution.

First time Victor Cebotari heard of CPP from his colleagues, directors of middle school No.2 and 3 from Bender. 75 persons attending the consensus meeting from Sucleia have decided to improve the studying and training conditions at the village sports school. Elaborating documents and passing through the project implementation phases has helped CIG members acquire new competencies of community consolidation, in the same time improving the training conditions and young sportsmen’s health safeness. Besides the aesthetical improvement of the building and the increasing number of gym attendees, inside temperatures are kept constant thus averting the risk of children sickness. Now in the sports school can be organized sports ceremonies of any kind: championships, competitions, European and World cups, international tournaments, and even meetings.

112 community members actively participated in identifying problems from Ciobruciu village. After constructively discussing all priorities, the community has decided to improve the educational process of the village school by purchasing and replacing the furniture, which was last replaced in 1978. Before CPP project the old furniture was overused, shaking, in some classrooms not suitable for all pupils’ ages. As result of the community mobilization, the school has improved its educational process, created satisfying working conditions and a healthy environment. While solving this important problem the community has intensified communication between locals involved, community members becoming more united and interested in maintaining a durable relation with the local government, school administration and other social actors.

The Initiative Group led by Liudmila Klepacevskaia has obtained USAID/IREX finance to renovate the façade of middle school No.2 from Bender. The community consensus meeting was attended by 59 persons of different ages and specialties. Together the participants decided to renovate the middle school façade, formed the Initiative Group and elected a leader. Further they participated in CPP organized trainings and effectively applied the acquired skills and competences to work with their community, local government and businesses. A strict control over the realized works permitted to avoid technical and financial mistakes in relation to the vendor. As result community has improved the building’s aesthetical look and created favorable conditions for pupils’ studying process.
